Watched just for interest as I know Carol is a great presenter. Same great standard as usual – informative and never boring!
My great uncle was a convict. he was transported in the mid 1830’s to Australia. He was a hairdresser or barber. He became a hairdresser after he received his certificate of freedom after 7 years. John Aspinall married again in Australia and had six more children.

The Webinar was fast paced, informative and a delight to attend. The references were put up in the comments section so one could copy to a browser to bookmark later. I will certainly be looking for more webinars conducted by Carol Baxtor.
I was inspired by Carol Baxter at the 2015 Australian Genealogy Congress and continues to inspire.
Wonderful Presentation!
Haven’t found any convict ancestors yet but this was very interesting to learn about in case I do
Great information; well presented. Amazing to be sitting at home in New Brunswick, Canada and attend a webinar with a speaker in New South Wales, Australia. The wonders of technology!!!
