Fabulous webinar! What a treasure trove of knowledge. I am trying to find the parents of my 3rd ggf, and it’s been a needle-in-a-haystack endeavor. I have a few leads into the Mennonite community in Lancaster County, Penn., so this was extremely enlightening. Thanks so much, Peggy!

This was great. So much information.

I took lots of notes & found the maps to be fascinating.

To my knowledge, I don’t have any Amish or Mennonite ancestors, but the explanation and comparison of the religions was very helpful. I feel like I have a better understanding.

Totally enjoyed the history as well as ideas on how to research. Thank you.

Absolutely fascinating material which is making me rethink where one line of our family came from.

Very interesting, although I was expecting a little more historical information. Peggy’s theme was different and well done and I learned several new things. My ancestry goes back to Bucks County, PA Mennonites in colonial times so that

Great Presentation with total historical coverage

Great webinar on researching Amish and Mennonite genealogy.

I have a whole line of Mennonite/Amish ancestors through my Grandmother Showalter( Switzerland/Germany/Lancaster co Pennsylvania/Wayne Co Ohio and Grundy Co Illinois) and I was glad to hear all the history. That was most important to me!

    I loved the historical background!

I work in Amish and Mennonite genealogy all the time … and I learned some things. Peggy did a good job, overall.

It was wonderful. As for the starting comments, my reply would be, “How can you have genealogy without history?”

Lots of very interesting historical information to help separate the different Anabaptist groups. Thanks so much!

    Love Peggy’s talks!

    Loved all the historical info
