About this webinar

Many records have been lost due to climate, poor storage, and war. Often it is possible to find alternative records if you know where to look. Federal records such as the census, and cemetery records both local and national are just two of the many record types to check to find ancestors who lived in areas where records were destroyed or lost.

One of the best webinars–gave me knew direction for some of my brick walls.

Outstanding as always, please keep having these Webinars!

Outstanding webinar…clear, easy to follow and understand, great details, very helpful power point presentation. Loved the personal stories too. I’m new and I’m hooked now! Thank you for the free webinar and thank you Mary Hill (I will watch more of your videos).

She had several records that I hadn’t thought of. I will be adding some to my overall checklist of records to think about for each search. 🙂

So informative! Love listening to Mary. She presents information in a clear and understandable way, which I appreciate as a “newbie”.

Spectacular webinar! So much to learn!!!!!!!!!! Thank you very much.

Such a wealth of usable information for advancing my genealogy skills. I will watch this one again and again. P.S. I love using the color-coding system.

The scope of the resources Mary Hill provided was excellent.

There was so much information presented today, as always. It gets me so excited again to research my family.

This is one of the best webinars I have listened to. Thank you!

This may be the best speaker I’ve ever heard! Excellent!!!

This was my lst webinar at home and I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for bringing it to me.

This was the best webinar. Mary Hill is very easy to follow and understand. I liked the way she recapped parts of her information. It was easy to follow how she got to her information and what she was teaching. I look forward to more of her webinars. Think I will need a membership. There is so much to learn at these webinars. Thank you so much, Geoff.

Very well organized and very infromative. One of the better. I was thinking this one needs to be printed and kept near my computer as a resource guide.

What a great webinar and a wonderful presenter. In my book Mary is a “10”.

Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!! So many unfamiliar websites to test-drive. Thank you, Mary. That was really informative. (And I, too, spent four happy days listening/watching RootsTech 2018. What a wonderful gift that is to all of us.) Thanks, Geoff, for another great webinar.

Wow! I really learned a lot from Mary today. I’ve used Fam Search for 15 years, but I didn’t know it had the info that she showed us today.
