Dr. Daphna Weissglas graduated from the Department of Human Genetics, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA where subsequently did her post-doc and served as a teaching assistant, supported by the NHGRI. Prior to this, in Israel, she completed courses at the Open University in Bioinformatics and a Bachelors in Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, at the inter faculty program in Medical and Life Science at Tel Aviv University. Before joining MyHeritiage as a bioinformatics team leader she worked three years as a bioinformatics scientist at the lab of Dr. Shomron at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Daphna published 33 papers in the field of genomic research.
